In The News
Oct 25, 2013

Each semester, my District and Capitol offices offer Congressional internships to college students and recent graduates interested in serving the constituents of California’s 49th District. Congressional interns gain first-hand experience about our country’s legislative process by assisting with constituent inquiries, casework with federal agencies, legislative research, and attending Congressional events like briefings, hearings and meetings.

Students interested in applying for an internship are asked to submit a resume, cover letter and 2-5 page writing sample to the intern coordinator of the office he or she wishes to work in. If interested in applying for an internship in the Vista office, please submit all materials to ca49dointernship@mail.house.gov. If interested in applying for an internship in the Washington, D.C. office, please submit all materials to ca49dcinternship@mail.house.gov
