On Monday, January 22, 2018, the Office of Congressman Darrell Issa will host a TRICARE information forum in Oceanside at the Veterans Association of North County (VANC). Representatives from TRICARE West’s San Diego Regional Office will be present to give a brief presentation on coverage and enrollment changes for 2018. Following the introduction, members of the audience will be able to participate in a question-and-answer session with the presenters about their specific health plan or other topics related to TRICARE health benefits. This event is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

What: Congressman Issa’s 2018 TRICARE Information Forum

When: Monday, January 22, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Where: Veterans Association of North County (VANC), located at:

1617 Mission Ave., Oceanside, CA 92058

Who: Current TRICARE beneficiaries, prospective enrollees, veterans, and interested members of the public are all encouraged to attend this free event.

Why: On January 1, 2018, TRICARE changed its current coverage options from three choices (Prime, Standard, and Extra) to two choices (Prime and Select). The Q&A forum will allow enrollees to directly ask TRICARE specialists questions, learn about how these changes will affect your current health plan, discuss, and see the new enrollment procedures for changing your coverage.

The following presenters will be featured at the event:
