Happy Independence Day! It was a privilege for me to celebrate the 4th of July with the people of Oceanside in this year's parade and by welcoming all of the new American citizens who took the Oath of Naturalization aboard the USS Midway earlier this week.  It was inspiring to see so much love for our great nation and the freedoms so many have given their lives to protect.
