Local and in-person U.S. passport services for citizens have expanded! The U.S. Post Office (USPS) now offers walk-in service hours in local post office branches to assist citizens seeking to renew or apply for a U.S. passport.

You may also schedule a USPS passport application appointment in advance if preferred.
We encourage you to first visit www.usps.com/international/passports.htm for full application instructions including the required pictures and government documents.
