Captain E. Royce Williams - Congressional Medal of Honor
Captain E. Royce Williams is a veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, but he achieved historic distinction in the skies over the Sea of Japan on November 18, 1952 – although his indomitable courage under fire and heroism for the ages remained classified for more than half a century. Now, that truth is no longer a secret. The Royce Williams story can finally be told in full.
Congressman Darrell Issa is advancing the cause of his friend, constituent, and hero, as Royce Williams turns 100 years old in April 2025. Along with a national network of thousands of friends, service members, combat veterans, decorated pilots, Veterans Service Organizations, and supporters of our military, Rep. Issa is making the case for Captain Williams to be duly recognized with the Congressional Medal of Honor.
