WASHINGTON-- Congressman Darrell Issa sent a letter to newly sworn-in Health & Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. requesting a stop to federal funding support for California’s Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) Conditional Release Program (CONREP), which releases sexually violent felons from secure facilities into California neighborhoods.
Recently, Congressman Issa had the pleasure of meeting with John Sullivan of the Alpine VFW along with his fellow VFW representatives to discuss the 2025 veterans' priorities including claims work and health care. These volunteers are critical to the community of veteran support and their work is appreciated by all.
