ICYMI – Congressman Issa Honored by North County Fire Protection District
WASHINGTON, D.C.— This week, Congressman Issa received a Resolution of Appreciation from the North County Fire Protection District (NCFPD) for his leadership in achieving a $7 million grant – the largest in NCFPD history.
Funding will support construction of a new 9,000 square foot modern fire station in Fallbrook, providing state-of-the-art facilities to the surrounding community and Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
“It’s an honor to work alongside the professionals of the North County Fire Protection District, and this crucial new federal funding will enhance fire safety and support our first responders to serve and protect the community of Fallbrook,” said Rep. Issa. “This new station will be an important resource that will only strengthen the critical partnership between the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton and North County communities.”
