Congressman Issa to Host Informational Webinar on the IRS Tax Filing Process

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-50) announced his office will host a free webinar with representatives of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to provide important details and key information about the tax filing process and upcoming deadlines.

“The tax filing process can be difficult and strenuous, so my team and I worked to connect IRS professionals with constituents so they can have their questions answered and benefit from their expertise," said Issa. "The IRS has an obligation to assist taxpayers, and this is an ideal opportunity to discuss the steps, deadlines, and documents needed to properly complete one’s taxes."

Darrell Issa is the Representative of California’s 50th Congressional District. The District encompasses the central and northeastern parts of San Diego County and a portion of Riverside County, including the communities of Fallbrook, San Marcos, Valley Center, Ramona, Escondido, Santee, Lakeside, El Cajon, Temecula, and the mountain and desert areas of the San Diego-Imperial County line. Issa served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform from 2011-2015.
