Issa: Hunter Biden gave the American people the finger, but he will be held accountable

January 10, 2024

Following the House Judiciary Committee vote today formally recommending to hold Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress, Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-48) gave the following statement:

"We have an individual who not only ignored a lawfully issued subpoena but showed up to the Capitol and flipped the middle finger at the American people. Because of this, the House Judiciary Committee rightfully found Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress.

"The hope is when faced with the possibility of incarceration, he may actually come and answer our questions.

"Hunter Biden continues to run, but soon enough will have nowhere else to hide.

"This Congress will determine the degree to which Hunter Biden sold access to his father to rake in profits in his business dealings."
