Issa Introduces Bill to Stop Biden Administration Plan to Provide Detained Illegal Immigrants with Private Housing
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-50) introduced the No Alternatives to Detention for Illegals Act to halt the Biden Administration’s plan to end the detention of illegal immigrants and provide them with taxpayer-funded housing — starting in Baltimore and Houston.
“In his State of the Union address, President Biden called for securing our southern border — but he clearly didn’t mean it,” said Issa. “Ending illegal immigrant detention and replacing it with publicly funded private housing is a dangerous mistake and only a continuation of this Administration’s disastrous open borders policies.”
