Issa Recognizes Local Heroes of Santee

Santee – Last week, Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-48) participated in the Santee Chamber of Commerce’s Santee Heroes Celebration to honor nine public service professionals who made extraordinary impacts on the Santee community in 2023.

“Our local leaders and the public service they perform make up the resilient foundation upon which our shared values stand. These men and women represent our, best, and we thank these nine special friends for their dedication to this special city and making Santee great.”

The nine honorees included:

• Jesse Fournier, Santee Fire Department

• Robyn Nolin, American Legion Post 364
• Bill Marshall, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9327
• Daniel Buksa, Santee Chamber of Commerce
