ICYMI – Congressman Issa Delivers Remarks at Congressional Energy Efficiency Expo
WASHINGTON, D.C. — This week, Congressman Issa spoke at the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Expo, where he discussed innovative electrical products and how they contribute to high-performance buildings across the U.S.
Rep. Issa participated in a showcase of NEMA member products, which provide critical electrical and medical imaging standards covering millions of essential products and services worldwide. In California’s 48th District, the electroindustry supports 1,600 jobs across numerous companies.
Issa also announced the reintroduction of the Pro Codes Act, critical legislation that aims to guarantee free public access to technical standards while simultaneously protecting the copyrights of corporations that created them.
