Escondido – Last week, Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-48) announced 10 students from California’s 48th Congressional district who received appointments to U.S. Military Service Academies.
Rep. Issa honored these students at a congratulatory breakfast hosted in Escondido, CA which also included their families as well as local veterans and members of the military community.

This bipartisan legislation would enhance U.S. strategic engagement with the Indian Ocean region by requiring the development of a multi-year strategy and implementation plan for coordinated regional military, diplomatic, and development initiatives.
