ESCONDIDO, CA – Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-48) is now accepting submissions for the 2023 Congressional Art Competition, a contest for high school students in the 48th Congressional District to showcase their artistic creations to be displayed in the Capitol Building.
“I’m always amazed by the scope of imagination and range of artistic expression by young artists in our community. This is their opportunity to present their best and allow us to ensure that it is presented in the People’s House,” said Issa.
WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-50) has completed a Parents and Educators Roundtable with constituents from throughout East County to address growing concerns about crime and public safety, as well as inappropriate material presented to children in school without their parents’ knowledge or consent.
WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-50) today announced that October 21, 2022 at 4:00pm PT is the deadline for students in the 50th Congressional District of California to apply for a Congressional nomination to U.S. military academies.
“It is a great honor to nominate esteemed young men and women to attend the U.S. military service academies,” said Rep Issa. “These students will be the leaders of tomorrow who answer the call of their country and volunteer to stand in service to America.”
Students in the 50th Congressional District of California seeking Congressional nomination to a U.S. military academy, may submit their application package by 4pm PT on October 21, 2022.
