He also gathered with community leaders, small-business owners, growers, and residents to listen to the challenges they need Congressional action on this year. Issa provided an update on legislative priorities and Committee action to date.

Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-48) introduced the GAS Act, which would stop the Biden Administration from its contemplated ban on gas-burning stoves.
“The Biden Administration’s clear consideration to ban an appliance used by more than 40 million homes and 76 percent of restaurants is worse than Green New Deal-style regulation run amok. It is a preposterous overreach of federal power that would deny Americans a necessary product they use every day,” said Rep. Issa.

WASHINGTON, D.C. —Today, Congressman Darrell Issa announced that three local water projects he submitted in the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) were passed by the full House of Representatives.

The Issa legislation requires the Department of Commerce to report to Congress outlining policy changes that can be implemented within 30 days to address the continuing supply chain crisis.
As the nation gets deeper into wildfire season, Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., led in a letter to Interior Secretary Deb Haaland and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, calling on them to address a "potential fuel shortage" for airplanes tasked with fighting fires.
