ESCONDIDO, CA – Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-48) is now accepting submissions for the 2023 Congressional Art Competition, a contest for high school students in the 48th Congressional District to showcase their artistic creations to be displayed in the Capitol Building.

WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-48) and Congressman Jerry Nadler (NY-12) have introduced the bipartisan American Music Fairness Act (AMFA) to ensure that artists and music creators are paid when their songs are played on FM/AM radio. The AMFA will bring radio broadcasters in line with the standard of other platforms that compensates artists when their music is played. Senators Blackburn (R-TN) and Padilla (D-CA) introduced the AMFA in the Senate.
