Congressman Darrell Issa welcomed Escondido Mayor Dane White and Escondido Councilmember Joe Garcia to Washington to meet on a range of city issues including public safety, housing, economic development and more.  It was a highly productive meeting to advance essential solutions for Escondido’s most pressing federal needs.

Congressman Issa sat down recently with representatives from the Rancho California Water District, serving water needs in Temecula, Murrieta areas and nearby.  Water infrastructure is an essential investment for California.

Congressman Issa hosted team members from the California Credit Unions.  In the meeting they discussed access to capital, member services, fraud prevention, and more.  Representing millions of credit union members across the country, it is always a pleasure to receive the latest information affecting the financial institutions and their customers.

Recently, Congressman Issa had the pleasure of meeting with John Sullivan of the Alpine VFW along with his fellow VFW representatives to discuss the 2025 veterans' priorities including claims work and health care.  These volunteers are critical to the community of veteran support and their work is appreciated by all.

Escondido – Last week, Congressman Darrell Issa participated in a local farm roundtable discussion with avocado and citrus growers from San Diego and Southwest Riverside County.
